Our Head Office Is Moving Location in July 2017

As part of a Kent County Council property review, from the start of the next academic year in September 2017 we will be operating from Units A/B London Road, Sittingbourne ME10 1SX.

These new premises offer modern, air conditioned classroom facilities and are located close to public transport links. We shall continue to provide you with a range of courses with classrooms fully equipped for our Art and Craft, and IT provisions, as well as generalised classrooms designed to host a wide range of courses.

Some of the ‘specialist’ courses will be delivered in alternative locations, which are currently being researched and this information will be made available as soon as possible.

There will be no on-site car parking facilities during the day (09:00 to 17:00) and limited car parking after 17:00. However, if you need to drop off equipment in relation to your course, there will be a limited drop off facility.

Alternative parking can be found nearby at Cockleshell Walk Car Park and Spring Street Car Park, both are located on St Michael’s Road and charges apply from 8am-6pm Mon-Fri. There is also on-street parking at no charge available a short walk away from the centre, in Borden Lane and Johnson Road.

All other contact information including e-mail addresses, the main KCC Contact Centre and all website address remain unchanged.

We are all looking forward to our move and thank you for your continued support. We look forward to welcoming you to our new Sittingbourne Adult Education Centre.

Subcontracting Opportunities

Kent Community Learning and Skills has opportunities for a provider to work in partnership on the delivery of innovative and engaging Study Programme courses aimed at engaging NEET (Not in Education, Employment or Training) young people. These courses will be aimed at some of the hardest to reach, and will initially focus on mentoring and support to develop young people’s attitudes and behaviours, to enable them to progress to more vocational/work focussed provision.

Please check back for new vacancies.
