KAE Skills offers English and maths courses for learners from Entry level 1 to GCSE level.

Our aim is to be the leading provider of skills to the public/private sector and not-for-profit organisations. We seek to be the provider of choice for individuals and community groups seeking to enhance employability skills.

We work with a wide range of organisations to develop adult skills and confidence to raise economic performance, improve social mobility/cohesion and the quality of life in our county.

KAE Skills offers a wide range of opportunities for adults to improve their skills and gain nationally recognised qualifications. With us you can improve your chances of getting a job, progress your career or build on your current skills to help your children with their homework.

KAE Skills can help you if…

handshakeYou want to gain a qualification in maths or English – Our KAE Skills Centres offer free maths and English courses leading to Functional Skills qualifications. These are on offer from a basic level all the way up to GCSEs.

You want to be able to help your children with their homework – To help you support your children’s learning, we have courses that will improve your own skills and those which will show you more about how children are taught in schools.

You would like to improve your skills for work – KAE Skills can help improve your maths and English skills and gaining or updating your qualifications can improve your CV, build your confidence and enhance your chances of getting a job or progressing in your career.

You need basic computer skills  – The majority of our centres offer free training in ICT, whilst Kent Adult Education offers a wide range of IT courses from beginners to advanced.

Leading providerEnglish is not your first language, and you would like to improve it – Our ESOL and EFL provision help people who don’t speak English as their first language to improve their reading, writing, speaking and listening skills, as well as their job and career opportunities in the UK and throughout the world.

You are an employer and want to upskill your staff – We offer bespoke training to help identify your staff development needs and to upskill your workforce

You have a learning disability or mental health difficulty – Our Everyday English and maths courses are designed for learners who need to cover the basics in English and maths, including those who have a mild to moderate learning disability and/or difficulty.
